When i saw this charger i was a bit sceptical of the design of the euro plug, since the electrical contacts when not in use are flush with the housing, meaning they can easily be touched when the charger is plugged in using the UK or US plug.
Since the contacts are not touch safe, i had doubts about the electrical safety of this device. However there is no permanent contact between the plugs. In the stowed position all plugs are disconnected from each other and the AC input of the actual charger. Only when you fold out one plug, this plug is electrically connected to the AC input, by means of a mechanical contact. All other plugs are mechanically locked into place, so it is not possible to fold out two plugs at once. Hence no obvious risk of electrocuting the user. However, designing the device in a way that no plug contacts can be touched when in use would be the safe thing to do. And this would only mean a little bit more plastic...
Otherwise this charger works as advertised. It does 5V, 9V and 12V, it does 20W, it doesn't get very warm. If you use more than one device, it will only do 5V and up to 15W, which is expected of such a simple charger, but why not at least do the full 20W at 5V?
