This is exactly what I was looking for: a simple Thunderbolt 3 Hub. I have it connected to my Macbook and connected two USB-C Dell Monitors to it. So there‘s one TB3 Port remaining on which I am charging my iPhone (with Lightning to USB-C Cable). The USB-A port is occupied by my DAC Amplifier, which also works great.
It has a nice solid feeling (its quite small but feels very cold, like a solid aluminium casing).
The device gets quite warm after some minutes of using it, which is ok but I will run it through some days of work to see how it keeps up with the temperature.
What I don't like is the power button. I am not sure if this device even needs a power button at all. It is very easy to press accidentally when you plug / unplug cables, but since I‘m not changing cables often that's not a big downside for me.
Also I think it would be better to have all ports on the back side. The way it is, cables are sticking out on both sides which makes it annoying to place on my desk.
Also, there's a blue and green LED light on the front which have super ugly colors. And I don't need them so I put a sticker on them instead.
In the end I would much more prefer a black color than the silver casing to be honest.
As you can see all my negative feedback points are very nit-picky, there are no big downsides.
I will report how this device changes over time, if there are any interruptions or crashes.
So far it was all plug & play and that's how it should be. Recommended. 5 Stars.
